Aruba’s portfolio of 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) and 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) access points address today’s most challenging Wi-Fi use cases. Flexible deployment options allow the APs to be deployed in controller-managed, controllerless (Instant), or remote access modes for midsize and large enterprise environments. Aruba APs also support Bluetooth and Zigbee for IoT and location-bases services.

Wi-Fi 6 represents an exciting step change for wireless networking. As well as providing a welcome boost to performance on both the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands, a higher density of clients can take advantage of new efficiencies to communicate concurrently, completing their communications faster so that others can get their turn sooner.
New clients will also benefit from battery savings thanks to the new ability to schedule their communications—particularly useful for IoT devices. Multigigabit switches, also available from Meraki, provide the high performance wired connection these access points need over existing cabling.
Meraki MR + Umbrella: A Match Made in the Cloud
Introducing the Meraki MR and Umbrella integration, to give extra protection to wireless clients on your Meraki network, without extra headache. With Umbrella+MR, you can protect against threats like malware, ransomware, and C2 callbacks by enforcing security at the DNS layer. This secures the “last mile” of a client’s internet connection, which can often be left exposed and vulnerable.
Assign Umbrella policies to wireless networks on a per-SSID basis, or by using Meraki Group Policies, all within the Meraki dashboard.
Smarter, Healthier Wireless Networking
Every Meraki wireless network provides metrics and anomaly detection to help identify issues with associations, wireless connection quality, and capacity. Wireless Health enables rapid identification of the worst-performing access points and clients across the network for more efficient troubleshooting.
RF Profiles
Managing access points at scale is now easier by using RF Profiles to fine-tune coverage across multiple access points. Pre-defined templates simplify rollouts of APs with common locations, like open offices, auditoriums, or outdoor spaces, and co-channel interference can be reduced through the use of Auto RF features.
