Cisco Aironet Mobility Express 1815i Series

The Cisco Aironet 1815i provides industry-leading wireless performance by supporting IEEE’s 802.11ac Wave 2 standard (Figure 1). It also meets the increasing demands of wireless networks by providing a better user experience. The 1815i adds support for a new generation of Wi-Fi clients, including smartphones, tablets, and high-performance laptops with 802.11ac Wave 1 or Wave 2 support. The 1815i offers a data rate of up to 867 Mbps on the 5-GHz radio by adhering to the 802.11ac Wave 2 standard. This exceeds the data rates provided by 802.11n-compliant access points. It also allows for a combined total aggregate dual-radio data rate of up to 1 Gbps. This lays the groundwork for enterprise and service providers networks to stay ahead of the performance expectations and needs of their wireless users.
